The AMPlify Audiobooks™ platform ("AMPlify") is offered by Pro Audio Voices Inc ("PAV") with the intention of providing authors and publishers ("Users") with higher royalties and more control than they can get through other retail options. In so doing, PAV is offering rights-holders more opportunity to create a greater impact and get a higher ROI for their audiobooks.

Sales & Marketing:

While PAV holds this intention and offers marketing programs to support increased discoverability and sales, PAV cannot guarantee any sales. It is up to each User to use the platform to its fullest for the greatest results and benefits and value. The more you use the platform and its tools, the more likely you are to increase your sales and results.

Set-up Fees:

The initial AMPlify Set-up Fee is non-refundable unless for any reason PAV is not able or willing to make the audiobook content available for sale and distribution through AMPlify. (See below.)

Harmful Content:

Content that is deemed by PAV to be hateful or harmful may be rejected for inclusion in AMPlify. In such a case, any fees paid for services not delivered will be refunded.

AI Narration:

Narration created with AI is prohibited from the AMPlify platform.

Subscription Fees: 

A recurring Subscription Fee will be charged to Users and charged automatically. The fee rate may be increased with a minimum of 60 days notice and no more frequently than once in six months. PAV hopes and intends to be able to keep subscription fees as low as possible.

Subscription Cancellation:

Should a User with one or more titles active on AMPlify cancel or fail to keep active their Subscription Fees, the following applies:

1. All royalties earned from sales of the User's products will continue to be collected and held by PAV to cover storage fees and management of the product and its customer support on AMPlify.

2. AMPlify reserves the right to remove any titles for which subscription fees are not paid.

3. The User may reactivate their account (unless they have been removed for violations beyond keeping their subscription fees paid) within 12 months of cancellation by paying a Reintstatement Fee equal to 50% of any retained royalties collected during the period User's account was inactive in addition to the subscription fee to reinstate the account's active status.

4. After Reinstatement, any royalties being held by PAV will be paid out in the next payout cycle.

5. Any royalties earned during to the 12-month reinstatement period will be forfeited if the account is not reinstated by the 12-month deadline.

6. User must reactivate their account and be up to date on Subscription Fees to receive royalties from sales on AMPlify.

7. Failure to keep current with Subscription Fees will cause User to lose access to their account dashboard and the related marketing and engagement tools.

8. A grace period of 30 days from the date account goes out of active status will be given before User loses access to the dashboard.

9. We reserve the right to continue to sell your audiobook on the AMPlify Platform unless you request removal in writing to support@amplifyaudiobooks.com.

Removal from AMPlify:

Users may request in writing for the removal of titles or their User account from AMPlify. In the case one or more titles are removed and the User cancels or requests cancellation of the subscription fee, PAV will honor the request effective the date of the written request.

Personal Information:

For the safety of all participants on and members of AMPlify Audiobooks, users should NOT share their personal contact information such as phone number, address, or personal email addresses in any public messaging. In private direct messaging please use discretion and caution. Including outbound links or phone numbers or addresses in bios or book descriptions or in any areas not specifically dedicated for this purpose, may cause your account to be blocked or removed. At certain member account levels, you may be able to share you website address. If you have your personal contact information available on your website, we strongly recommend removing that prior to linking.

Taxes:

PAV will not collect tax on any audiobook sales on behalf of Users and assumes no responsibility for paying taxes on behalf of Users using AMPlify. PAV is headquartered in Oregon where there is currently no sales tax. Please consult with your tax advisor.

Royalties & Pricing: 

Royalties paid to client will be based on the gross amount of sale. The royalty percentage may depend on the User's account or account status. Users have control over the sales price and any promotional pricing or discounts to be offered. 

PAV may make available programs that involve discounted-pricing promotions or subscriptions. Users may choose to opt into such programs or not. Again, the User always retains the control over whether to do so and PAV will never override a User's pricing.

Technical Specifications:

To maintain a high quality audiobook distribution platform, audio and cover image files must meet the required specifications. 

Audio Requirements:

- Consistent in the overall sound and formatting of all files

- Either mono or stereo for all files

- Consistent bit rate for all files

- Include opening and closing credits (in separate audio tracks)

- Include a retail sample track 1.0-5.0 minutes in length

- Contain only one chapter or section per audio file

- No longer than 78 minutes each

- Contain a section or chapter announcement at the beginning of the audio file

- Contain 1 to 5 seconds of silence at the beginning and end of each track

- Free of extraneous sounds, e.g., plosives, mic pops, mouse clicks, excessive mouth noise, and outtakes

- RMS between -23dB and -18dB 

- Peak values no higher than -3dB

- Noise floor no higher than -60dB RMS

- 192 kbps

- MP3 file format.

- Constant Bit Rate (CBR)

- 44.1 kHz

- Each file no larger than 170MB

- Metadata, Cover Art and Opening Tracks must all contain consistent information

Image Files:

Your audiobook cover must:

• Include author name and title

• No references to physical (CD) or other media editions

• No CD jewel case, promo stickers, or cellophane

• No offensive material

• No colored borders on the side

• 2400 x 2400 (H x W) minimum

• Must be a perfect square

• File size should be less than 8MB

• 24-bit minimum

• 72 dpi minimum

• RGB (Not CMYK)

• JPG Format

• File name alphanumeric only

If files fail to meet these specifications, User will be notified so the issues can be rectified. Users may request assistance with post-production or graphics to get their files to meet specifications, which may be offered at an additional charge. Any additional charge will need to be approved by the User prior to work being done.
