Joel Malkoff, a.k.a. the Ethics Giver, is a successful business executive, entrepreneur, author, and student of business ethics. Over the course of his 45-year career, Malkoff has generated more than a half billion dollars in sales, proving that ethical business conduct isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s key to advancing business objectives and enhancing profitability. Because ethics is smart business. After earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University in New York City, Malkoff started his business career as a sales representative and rose through positions of increasing responsibility in the automotive, lighting, medical devices, and scientific research industries. Shaped by an ongoing study and practice of ethics as well as his strong faith, Malkoff developed successful leadership and management practices, combining ethical sales with long-term company profitability, as he took on senior leadership roles in his career. Today, Malkoff serves as the general manager and vice president of a successful corporation that manufactures and sells scientific research products worldwide. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Joel currently lives in Avon, Connecticut, with his wife, Lynn. Selling Ethically: A Business Parable Connecting Integrity with Profits is his debut book.
